Back in 1925, Helen Keller asked the Lions to take on the mission to prevent blindness and deafness and to support those afflicted with these things. In response the Lions Club has taken up the cause for this and it is a key service project for us in Lions. We offer assistance to help people get glasses and hearing aids when we are able. We also go into the school system and offer vision screening to the kids in Rome. We have been able to do over 5,000 screenings since 2016! Check out our infographic below!
